Dadda's Surprise

Louise Captaff thought well ahead for her husband's father’s day present and booked a session for her 2 year old daughter Ella. Ella painted for 3 hours so insatiably, Sharron had to mix paint fast to keep up with her, she even got into it with her feet! She loved to help paint carefully over the edge showing her attention to detail and was happy to paint in chocolate, green and red-orange, saying all the time “paint, paint?”

Before Ella's nap, Sharron doused Ella's hand with red and helped Ella make her mark which she then accentuated and painted in her name and age....all mums, dads and the ones just love that!

The painting adds a punch of colour and movement to the room but Sharron suggested quite a few interior decoration hints to Louise; left of the lounge, match the coffee table arrangement with a tall soft silver vase with arching greenery and tropical flowers. Glittery cushions in the room colours to match the paintings iridescence (which looks white here) and modernizing the furniture with deeper timber featuring bolt, iron and glass. The floor space requires a simple, textured rug with tints and tones of the chocolate to encourage a rich, natural look. Louise has been busy doing these decor adjustments herself and loves the difference it makes.
