I can help you make your child’s room very stylish with paint and collage on canvas that’s inspired by your décor. This speciality of mine is different - collage with lovely glittering elements your children will absolutely adore. At or after our meeting, a range of sketches are presented to you and then fabrics, trims and beads are sourced to match. If available, I'll use the rooms left over decor fabrics too. These beautiful, exciting artworks will make your child's room look like a scene out of Vogue Magazine and encourage play.

TOY ROOM COLLAGE - With Works For Stylish Kids the sky is the limit! It’s about the furniture and fabrics you have already begun in the child’s bedroom, TV room, toy room or rumpus and I carry on from there. Colours match, fabrics can be used again and collage will bring characters to life making the child’s room you’ve always dreamt of. I either come to you, or we use the internet facilities and the work is freighted to you. Which ever way, from your brief my ideas are sketched so you can visualise and approve and then I begin.

SWISS FARM COLLAGE - Here is an art form not often found and one which is very stylish, presenting a wonderful opportunity to add pattern to a space. It’s paper collage! The papers I use are acid free and therefore archival quality …they won’t fade in the years to come. Likewise, on my painted backdrop, the glue doesn’t turn yellow. Paper collage could be for floral, animal, rustic, fantasy or abstract children’s art. Children and visitors will marvel in this fabulously creative art form for years to come and you really will have something stylish and special for your especial boy or girl.

ALEXANDER ROOLS! - Teenager’s hobbies are encouraged with Works for Stylish Kids! Rather than hang posters and scraps of magazines, large canvases can neatly fill a space and still fuel their passion.  Colours for teenagers need to be more sophisticated. They tend to have strong urges to surround themselves with black for it’s protective nature. Don’t give in! For boys, try blues to encourage communication and reds for action and masculinity. Adding grey to these colours will soothe and give them inner strength to change. Pull out one of the colours from your art work, brush it over your feature wall to add spark and texture… they’ll love it!

MONKEY PILOT - I find many clients, especially ladies, like to think well ahead and arrange artwork for spaces or homes they haven’t even built yet! That’s fine by me, I like organisation. Sometimes, the house will be there but the furniture hasn’t been moved into the right rooms yet and this was the case with Monkey Pilot. As long as there are some elements to work from i.e. wall colour, linen, timber colour, carpet colour, accent colour and theme, I can do my thing and when you are organised, you’ll have the art ready to hang!

CLOWN CAPERS - Art for babies’ rooms doesn’t have to be so cutesy as they grow so quickly.  It does need to be bright and happy though. Babies love detail – stuff they can look at for ages and work out and we all know they love back and white, due to its high contrast. Really, for longevity, art for babies is art for toddlers and little kids too which is what I have managed here. This painting isn’t in the right room yet, but the linen is right…like lots of Mum’s, we are planning ahead!
