Mother of 3 Catherine Nazaak dreams of a home worthy of a Vogue feature. She certainly has been putting in the time to decorating her 3 boy’s rooms, but there was just something missing. We created a 3 piece artwork to be joined together years down the track, but working separately for each of her son’s rooms, each with small square sets playing off each larger painting.
Alexander Rules is for her teenage son Alexander and features his favourite hobby and then a typical favourite teenage pastime – graffiti. We had to research graffiti, (Sharron's teenage days are long gone) for good design and created a cityscape. By using Alexander’s and his brother Christian’s own names, the artwork provided attachment, ownership and brotherhood whilst still matching the décor...much to Catherine's relief!
