This piece, donated to the office of Sharron's children’s Day Care Centre. It was inspired by the decorative white iron grate over the office window and the rooms cherry coloured feature wall. The ladies in the office asked her one of the most popular questions, which is, will art for children date?
So in return, Sharron asked the ladies what they would like for their office and they declared 'Flowers!" and then she simply relied, ''bugs!” (to interest the children).
The result, in real life especially, is fabulous. Young and old alike, love to investigate the delicate materials and carefully crafted bug menagerie made especially for them from beads, faux gems and glittery bits of fabric and mesh.
This collage proves that art can be for adults as well as for children!
