Vanessa Baxter travelled to Paris years ago and bought a pair of black and white prints from a vendor on La Seine and though Vanessa loves them, they just wouldn’t suit her new house and so she requested a re-vamp!
Vanessa supplied a sample image of the style and colours she liked and just a couple of hours later Vanessa had art she could proudly hang. The watercolours made a gentle impression on the fragile print paper without creasing it and yet the intensity of colour was exactly what suited the hallway. Further, Vanessa was given advice to purchase new frames in the white washed French style and to get new flocked matts (like a velvet effect) in a deep rich red. The final effect? Wow! Vanessa said ”I didn’t have much of a budget left and thought I could do it myself. But, I couldn’t have done THAT myself! It was well worth the expense.”
You can post your prints to WFYH with your instructions and colour samples and be just as delighted with the results.
